A Superb brace from Mary Anjor emerged BAYELSA Queens Winners of the 2020/2021 Aiteo Cup final by defeating Robo Fc 4 -2.

 

BAYELSA Queens emerged winners of the 2020/2021 Aiteo Cup final by defeating the Lagos based club side, Robo FC  4-2 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.

A brilliant performance from Mary Anjor in less then 10th minutes put  BAYELSA Queens on a score sheet. 

Fc Robo, The Lagos State based club however drew level six minutes later.

Mary restored her side’s lead when she scored in the 37th minutes to also increase her goal haul in this year’s Aiteo cup to eight. 

On resumption of play in the second half, Robo FC became more desperate to salvage the situation and were rewarded in the 65th minutes to make the game 3 – 2 but Bayelsa Queens made it four goal.

There were so many stellar performances throughout the team but that of Marry can't never be overlooked or forgotten as she was awarded with women man of the match award for her creativities and impact in the 2020/2021 AITEO Cup tournament.

Indeed she still bring another incredible award with her as she finish the league as top goals scorer with a total of 8 goals.
