Honest Ornan Okoawo popularly known as Krexx Nv, is a Nigerian Singer, songwriter, performing artist and an entrepreneur. Born on 9th July, 1996 in Benin City. Krexx Nv hails from Esan North East Local Government Area in Edo State, Nigeria.

Early Life

Honest was born and raised in Edo State by his parents and he lived with his family, Growing up, he had passion for entertainment. 

Educational Background 

He attended Federal science and technical college (FSTC) Uromi during is secondary education and then gained admission into the prestigious Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma to study Mechanical Engineering, and graduated in 2020. 

 

 

Musical Career  

Krexx Nv started music professionally in 2012, recording freestyles and cover songs, but it ignited an unquenchable passion within him. Despite the challenges of violence and societal pressures, he refused to be broken. With his distinct flow, style, and versatility, Krexx Nv gained the attention, acceptance, and respect among his peers.

 

 

The Lagos based artist, Krexx Nv has released over 6-7 singles and an Extended play project titled “INTEL (Inside The Eko Life)” which was released July, 2024. His songs has received radio plays on The Beat fm, Naija Fm, and Cool Fm Nigeria.

Krexx Nv is Inspired by rap icons like Eminem, Nas, and Lil Wayne, Krexx Nv found solace in music and discovered a profound connection with Kendrick Lamar whose relatable lifestyle and ability to navigate the streets resonated with him.
