Italian coach Enzo Maresca has been named as the Premier League manager of the month for September after picking up three wins and a draw across the Blues’ four top flight fixtures in that timespan.
The West Londoners currently sit in fourth place in the Premier League standings with an encouraging average of two points per game, specifically 14 from seven.

Maresca earned the accolade after a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, a 1-0 win away over Bournemouth, a 3-0 away at West Ham, and a 4-2 win at home to Brighton.
Outside of the Premier League, Maresca also guided his side to a 5-0 win over Barrow in the EFL Cup and a 4-2 win over Gent in the Europa Conference League. Chelsea has not lost in the Premier League since the 2-0 defeat by reigning champions Manchester City on the opening day of the season.
