BBNAIJA SEASON 10: Dear Tiv, Idomas and the entire Benue community Stop Being Tribalistic

BBNAIJA SEASON 10: Dear Tiv, Idomas and the entire Benue community Stop Being Tribalistic

There are voices, loud, bitter, and misinformed, that have vowed not to support Joanna, a vibrant young woman from our soil, who just made it into the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house. Why? Because some people are proudly calling her an Idoma lady instead of a Benue lady.

Let’s be clear: Joanna is Idoma. Joanna is Benue. These two truths are not in conflict. They are a celebration of identity and belonging. No one raised an eyebrow when Bitto and Kidd were called Tiv sons. Why then does it become an issue when we embrace one of our own with the same passion and pride?

This is not about tribe. This is about supporting one of us, a daughter of the land, who now stands on a national stage, representing every young person who dreams beyond their limitations.

This is not about whether she wins or not. It’s about showing her that she is seen, she is loved, and she carries the hope of a people behind her.

So, to every Idoma person, to every Benue son and daughter with a heart that beats for progress, support her. Vote. Post. Share. Cheer.

Let your love be louder than their hate. Let our unity shame their bias. Let us rise, not just for Joanna, but for every child watching, hoping their people would stand for them too, if they ever got the chance.

Support Joanna, not because you want to prove a point, but because love is louder. Purpose is stronger. And community will always matter.
