Boxing Day Tragedy at Buruku Beach Claims Four Lives

A tragic incident at Buruku Beach in Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State marred what should have been a festive Boxing Day celebration, leaving four people dead and deeply shocking the local community.

According to early reports from social media eyewitness accounts and local sources, what began as a day of leisure on the sandy shores of the Buruku River turned into a heartbreaking disaster on Friday, December 26. Four individuals lost their lives in circumstances that remain under investigation. Multiple accounts circulating online indicated confusion and urgent calls for emergency response following the incident.
