Nicole Njideka Nkemdirim Otti, known professionally as Nji, is an Afrobeats singer-songwriter hailing from Imo State, Nigeria. Bringing a blend of soulful resilience and infectious rhythm, Nji has quickly become a name to watch in the contemporary music scene.

Nji’s journey is one of unconventional paths and creative depth. After finishing JSS2 at Ave Maria, she transitioned her innate eye for detail into a successful career as a Product Designer, specializing in handmade goods. This tactile, hands-on approach to creation translates directly into her music—every lyric is crafted, and every melody is intentional.

 

Drawing deep inspiration from Wizkid, Nji’s sound captures the essence of modern Afrobeats while maintaining an emotional vulnerability rarely seen in the genre. Her discography, featuring tracks like "Cancer," "Too Sweet," and the title track from her EP "Love n Light," explores the complexities of human emotion under the banner of Tha 5th Haus label.
