ABOUT CAROL CEE
Carol Cee hails from Isoko, in Delta State, Nigeria. She is the second of four children and only girl born into the family of Reverend Dr. & Reverend Mrs. P.O. Ejemurua, founders of Rhema Pentecostal Assembly.
She started exhibiting her music talent at the tender age of 4. She has sung in several choirs and groups and served as Music Director in some prominent churches.
Her debut album titled “Shine” was released in 2004 followed by her sophomore album, “Rejoice” released in 2010. In the year 2012, she presented a 50 minutes non-stop medley tagged “Uncommon Praise” and in 2017, she unveiled the “Amazed” album in an event tagged “Fellowship Concert with Carol Cee.”
Carol is blessed with multiple talents. Apart from being an anointed songstress, she is also a prolific songwriter, composer, voice-over artist, video editor and Nollywood actress.
She is actually the voice behind a lot of great on-air commercials in Nigeria.
Carol hit the limelight as an actress in 2005 after she starred in Emem Isong’s blockbuster movie titled “Ekaete” where she played the lead role. Overnight she became a household name and went on to star in other movies including, “Unfinished Business” with Genevieve Nnaji, Desmond Elliot and Patience Ozokwor. Other movies she featured in include: “Cross And Tinapa”, “The King’s Son”, “Bloodstain In Bokondo”, “Hanatu” and much more.
For her, music is not just a profession or a hobby, music is her life and she is passionate about it. Her mien gives you the impression that there is nothing more beyond the looks but yet, in the dark skin lies a jewel with a voice so rich and so strong, it will leave you spell bound.
