WHEN THE EYES CRY, THE NOSE CRIES: THE VISION OF A BETTER BENUE WITH HON. APINE TERDOO

In the heart of Benue State, a land blessed with abundant natural resources and rich cultural heritage, the people have long been yearning for a leader who can translate their struggles into triumphs and their aspirations into realities. As the adage goes, "when the eyes cry, the nose cries," and indeed, the challenges that have besieged our state have left no one untouched. However, in the midst of these trials, a ray of hope has emerged in the person of Hon. Apine Terdoo, a young, dynamic, and visionary leader who has dedicated his life to public service and the pursuit of excellence.

A shot Biography of Vibrant  Hon Apine  Terdoo Joseph 

Born on July 12, 1997, to the family of Mr. and Mrs Augustine Apine Abaka. Hon Apine Terdoo hails from Nanev, Mbayoo, Nbayaaga Mbawer, Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State. With a strong educational background, Hon Apine Terdoo obtained his First School Leaving Certificate from Immaculate Nursery and Primary School Adikpo, from 2002 to 2008. He then attended Saint Andrew's Secondary School Adikpo, from 2008 to 2013, and later completed his secondary education at Sacred Heart Day Secondary School Adikpo, in 2014. In 2016, he gained admission into Benue State University to study Political Science, where he graduated in 2021.


After completing his undergraduate studies, Hon. Terdoo served under the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) from 2023 to 2024. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at the University of Abuja. As a young leader, Hon. Terdoo is committed to serving his community and making a meaningful impact in the lives of his people.


Hon. Terdoo's vision for a better Benue is built on a foundation of transparency, accountability, and good governance. He believes in effective communication and ensuring that the legislative system prioritizes the needs of the people. With his leadership, the people of Kwande West can expect a new era of responsive, responsible, and dedicated leadership.

Political  Ambitions 

As Hon. Apine Terdoo aspires to represent the people of Kwande West in the Benue State House of Assembly, his commitment to innovation, peace, and development is evident. With a strong educational background in Political Science and a Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, he is poised to bring transformative leadership to his community. Hon. Terdoo's background in Political Science and International Relations will enable him to develop innovative solutions to tackle the challenges facing Kwande West and Benue State, bringing new ideas and perspectives to drive development and progress in his constituency. His love for peace will drive him to prioritize initiatives that promote stability and security, ensuring citizens can live and work without fear, and tackling insecurity in Kwande West. Additionally, Hon. Terdoo's vision for economic growth is built on leveraging Kwande West's agricultural potential to boost the local economy, create jobs, and increase food production, while exploring the mining sector to drive economic development and job creation.


In conclusion, youth empowerment is key to the development of Kwande West. Hon. Apine Terdoo will encourage and train young minds in leadership positions, equipping them with the skills necessary to drive positive change, believing in empowering young people to take an active role in shaping the future of their community. By empowering the youth, we can reduce insecurity, social crises, and increase productivity, ultimately bringing development to the area. As a certified management consultant and a fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), Hon. Terdoo brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the table. His professional background has prepared him to hit the ground running, providing innovative solutions to the challenges facing Benue State. With his leadership, Hon. Terdoo will bridge the gap between the government and the people, ensuring that the voices of the marginalized are heard and their needs are addressed. Therefore, I encourage all youths, adults, and eligible voters in Kwande West to support Hon. Terdoo's vision because when we have the right leader, development is expected. He is a vibrant leader who turns challenges into opportunities and brings development to his community. Let's rally behind him and give him our best shot.
