Kevin Michael Onochie is a Nigerian-Canadian Entertainer, entrepreneur, event host, cultural promoter, and philanthropist. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Echovisionz Multimedia Productions Inc., an international entertainment and media company he founded in Nigeria in 2010 and later expanded to Canada in 2022. Known for his dedication to cross-cultural collaboration and community impact, Onochie has become a prominent figure in promoting African entertainment and culture across North America.
Early Life and Background
Kevin Michael Onochie was born on February 27, 1980, in Lagos State, Nigeria, into a family with good cultural and community values. Though raised in Lagos, he hails from Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. From a young age, Kevin exhibited a strong interest in creativity, business, and community service traits that would later shape his career path in entertainment and philanthropy.

Education
Kevin attended Keke High School in Agege, Lagos, where he showed early leadership and organizational skills. He later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Delta State University, Abraka, in 2004, providing him with a strong foundation for his business and management pursuits.
Career
In 2010, Kevin founded Echovisionz Multimedia Productions Inc. in Nigeria, a creative entertainment and media company. The company became known for bridging African and international entertainment through concerts, cultural showcases, and brand collaborations.

Echovisionz gained national attention with its flagship event, the Annual Echovisionz Christmas Family Funfair, sponsored by top brands including Arik Air, Cadbury, Nestlé, GSK, and Ovation Magazine. In 2012, Echovisionz collaborated with Nollywood America Entertainment to premiere the movie Unwanted Guest in Lagos, which received four Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA) nominations.
In 2022, Kevin expanded Echovisionz to Canada, where the company has produced major events such as the AY Live Comedy Tour across five Canadian cities, celebrity boat cruises, and concerts featuring leading African entertainers. Under his leadership, Echovisionz has become a key player in connecting African talent with global audiences.
Beyond entertainment, Kevin serves on the board of the Echovisionz Hope Foundation, which provides food support, winter gear, and community programs for new immigrants in Canada. In 2024, the foundation partnered with the SickKids Foundation Toronto for the Echovisionz Christmas Charity Event.
He also represents the Cubana Group in Ontario, Canada, working alongside Obi Cubana and DJ Kplus, and is currently spearheading the Miss Ebony Canada 2026 Pageant, a cultural initiative celebrating Black excellence in Canada.
